Neuro-Linguistic Programming

Neuro-linguistic programming (often referred to as NLP) is a study of language, neurological processes, and the behavioral experiences that have resulted in associated responses or reactions. An example of neuro-linguistic programming in action can be derived from a story you probably have already heard based upon the work of Ivan Pavlov and the tests done upon salivating dogs. Over time, the dogs began to associate the ringing of the bell with being fed and simply hearing the bell began the digestive process of salivation. Now it also works in humans. Most people have the experience of seeing someone and immediately feeling good or bad for no rational reason. Or hearing someone's voice and instantly having a reaction. These are conditioned responses referred to in neuro-linguistic programming as triggers. NLP can be applied to cases of procrastination, confidence, athletic excellence, successful sales and much more. Curiously, how would your life be different if the things that used to cause you to feel overwhelm, fear, anxiety, or not good enough instantly changed to create new beneficial responses in your body simply by finding yourself in the exact same scenarios?
